The Coway Air Purifier System AP1008CH has a 3-stage filtration process including a prefilter, A3 filter (including a activated carbon filter), and a HEPA filter proven to remove 99.9% of particles from the air. The smooth edged finish, low center of gravity, and automatic shut off if the cover is opened makes it kid friendly and safe for all homes. The AP1008CH uses a prefilter to remove large particles, pet hair, dust particles and bacteria helping to extend the life of the HEPA filter.
